Capacity Building Workshop for Educators and Counselors: Addressing Academic Challenges and Learning Disabilities – May 19th, 2023

On May 19th, 2023, a Capacity Building Workshop was organized at Mynd, Beltola, specifically designed for educators and counselors to address academic difficulties in educational settings. The interactive event commenced with participants completing a needs based analysis questionnaire. Mr. B. Moses Herick, Special Educator from Assam Valley School Tezpur, then facilitated a discussion to gather expectations from the workshop. A quiz was conducted to assess the participants’ existing knowledge, followed by an exploration of different types of learning disabilities and a clarification of the distinction between learning disability and learning disorder.
