Workshop on Time Management and SMART Goal-Setting at Gauhati University

On 25th June, the Department of Business Administration, Gauhati University, hosted an engaging and insightful workshop on “Time Management and SMART Goal-Setting”, led by Dr. Mythili Hazarika, renowned Head of the Department of Clinical Psychology, Associate Professor at Gauhati Medical College, and Founder of Mynd Institute.
This three-hour session took place at the Convocation Centre within the Department, aiming to integrate psychological principles into interdisciplinary education. The workshop was designed to offer a structured approach to self-management, prioritisation, and effective goal-setting strategies for students and professionals alike.

Dr. Hazarika was joined by her team comprising Ms. Anoushka Baruah, Ms. Ankita Deka, and Ms. Aishwaryya Devi, who contributed to facilitating the session and interacting with participants.

The workshop saw the enthusiastic participation of 19 individuals from diverse academic and professional backgrounds. Each attendee actively engaged with the exercises and discussions, contributing to the lively and collaborative atmosphere of the event.
The session was particularly significant as part of an initiative to introduce psychological skill-building into non-psychology curricula, a progressive step towards holistic education.
